suggestions after cleaning up black mold?

We had a bad rain storm that left our basement very wet. After cleaning it up, (or so we thought) we went back to normal living. 2 months has past and we noticed some mold growing, and after more research found much more….long story short, we have been removing all molding drywall, furing strips, carpet, and gutting the basement. However, under the stairs tonight was large amounts of black mold about 1 foot high and the length of the stairs on both sides. I wore a mask and wore gloves while removing, we shut our AC off. Just wondering if there are any suggestions to make sure that I didnt inhale any toxic mold as I have heard so much about it. Are there any home treatments or should I just go to the Dr to get a breathing treatment?
FEMA has already been to our house to do an inspection, we have gutted our basement, we have only that one area that had black mold, everything else had water damage, the black mold was where the water came in at.
