Is ritual removal of body parts unhealthy?

In my religious group, the Graderians, it is ritual to sever parts of your body to represent our divine gods sacrifice. Is this a bad thing for me? I've already took off all but four of my fingers and a few of my toes. I'm finding it difficult to partake in daily activities. If i discontinue lopping off body parts, i will be excommunicated, but i love our god and would like to still praise him. Iguess my question is… does anyone think it is worth it to be doing this sort of ritual sacrifice? PLease help me make a decision about this, for i am very concerned my wounds are becoming infected and growing mold. This could be a serious medical problem, but because i have only been in this country for a few years, i can not afford medical care or health benifits of any kind. Please help me! I have a family to support and i've already been fired from 18 jobs in the past year because they find my methods of spiritual worshipun-orthodox. I am no longer able to feel my arms. PLEASE HELP!!!!

woww.. uhh i think you may need some help, and I mean this in a serious way. Cutting your body off isn't cute. Your going to get sick, not even to mention its pretty nasty. There are other ways to worship but whatevv, to each his own.

I think you are joking, but if you are not:
Get to a hospital now. Call 911. Infections kill people.
Religions shouldn't cause people to die. If you have severed pieces of your body outside of a sterile setting, there is a risk of death.

Seek help for your self.This is too fantastic to believe but if true then you need to change your religion.Anyone or any thing that demands that type of sacrifice is not worth it.
