I got my braces off 6 months early and I had to sign a waiver for that.. Anyway, today I got my braces off, I have 2 appointments, they told me the first appointment would be about 1 ½hr, It was really only about 40 minutes and that the second one would be like 20 minutes.. Well..
The first appointment I just went to they took everything off my teeth, braces, glue and made a mold for retainers then sent me home..
My question is, are they going to whiten my teeth? Because its pretty gross.. and my second question is, do they shave your teeth down to make them the same size? Because I had this one tooth that was very crooked and stuck out and when it got aligned it now sticks out like 2 millimeters above the rest of my teeth so i look deformed.. Are they going to do something about this? I told them about this at my last app and they said they will get in done in my next app. But they allready made the mold for the retainers..

the shower. My husband doesn't want to take the carpet up at this time because we don't have the money to remodel the bathroom; a much needed project. We assume the black spot is mold. My immune system is weak because I have MS and I'm concerned that the mold may cause other illnesses, not only with me but with the rest of the family. Any suggestions on how to clean this spot?

I have a leather couch in my storage shed that has gotten mold on it. If I can clean it I would rather do that than throw it away, but I don't know if that's possible or what to clean it with.

Hello
My wife wants me to make a number of concrete blocks using a square plastic bucket she has; the dimensions are (in inches) about 10 wide x 10 across X 18 deep.
Does anyone know of a good oil-like substance to coat the inside of the mold? I'm thinking of using a can of thick automotive axle grease I have here, but that might be a bit messy. Any ideas?
My other question is how long I should let the concrete dry before popping the block out of the mold; I want it to set up for a short time, pop it out, and then make another one in the same mode.
Any ideas or suggestions for prepping the mold for easier block removal would also be appreciated.
Thanks in advance for any advice.
Patrick
Please excuse the subject line typo; it should say Casting CONCRETE in a mold .

A bedroom in our basement became wet after a long period of rain. We opened the window, plugged in some fans, and turned on a dehumidifier. Within days, it seemed dry, so we moved the furniture back into the room. A couple weeks passed, and soon we noticed that black spots were appearing near the baseboards. A couple weeks later, the entire carpeting and lower walls were covered in thick, black mold.
Should we even try to tackle this ourselves? And if so, how do we do it? I'm worried about the potential health hazards of cleaning it. I want to make sure that whatever we do does not make the spores become airborne. I also want to make sure that all the mold is killed. Please help.
